Local Owner / Chef Dale Carty was born and raised on the Caribbean island of Anguilla. Dale’s beginning was at Anguilla’s Malliouhana hotel where he was trained by Master French Chefs Jo and Michel Rostang. Dale then went to France to further his culinary experience. In 1999, Chef Dale opened Tasty’s restaurant, which soon became famous thru out the Caribbean and thru out the world. Chef Dale has been featured in prestigious publications such as Bon Appetit, Conde Nast, Travel & Leisure, Gourmet, the New York Times, Food & Wine, Eagle Latitude and many others.

In 2002, Anguilla Chamber of Commerce recognized Chef Dale as the Entrepreneur of the Year. In 2005, Chef Dale was among a select group of Anguillan chefs who received the Caribbean Hotel Association Taste of the Caribbean Award for the “Most Innovative Caribbean Menu”. Chef Dale is also an honored Guest Chef at the James Beard Foundation Chef’s & Champagne in the Hampton’s.

Chef Dale prides himself on preparing fresh, creative Caribbean specialties and providing a personal, unique local experience. Tasty’s is a true LOCAL restaurant known thru out he world…enjoy!
